Like many of our senior citizens
who remember where they were and what they were doing when they
heard that Pearl Harbor had been attacked by the Imperial Japanese
Navy, you and I can go back to our place and activity when our soil
was attacked by the Islamic Fundamentalist sect, Al-Qaeda, on
September 11, 2001. Today, we are still at war with a faceless
enemy that hides among ordinary people in our cities, suburbs and
vast rural areas of the world. Certainly we have given much focus
to Iraq and Afghanistan as major contributors to the training and
harboring of such terrorists that seek to destroy western
civilization as we know it, but many terrorist experts conclude that
our enemy is among us already.
One of the most unfortunate
realities of this era we often hear referred to as the “War against
Terrorism” is that our enemy are the only ones that have a clear
grasp of what and who they are at war with. How many times do we
have to watch the news and read the papers before we as Americans
realize that the confusion about the war is clearly our own
misunderstanding. Journalists, politicians, and celebrities have
sought to understand the minds of those that seek to harm us through
vile terrorist acts.
To understand the mind of these
terrorists we must first understand the word “Jihad”. Daniel Pipes,
one of the world’s foremost analysts on the Middle East and Islam,
writes, “… jihad is ‘holy war.’ Or, more precisely: It means the
legal, compulsory, communal effort to expand the territories ruled
by Muslims at the expense of territories ruled by non-Muslims. The
purpose of jihad, in other words, is not directly to spread the
Islamic faith but to extend sovereign Muslim power (faith, of
course, often follows the flag). Jihad is thus unabashedly offensive
in nature, with the eventual goal of achieving Muslim dominion over
the entire globe”.
This “War on Terrorism” is
actually State sponsored aggression against the evangelistic
outreach of radical Islam. Islamic Fundamentalists have held no
peace or minced no words in referring to the United States and
others in such derogatory epithets as “The Great Satan”. Americans
as well as many other nations should for once wake out of their
slumber and listen to their words, instead of ignoring their
theology and searching for diplomatic solutions to a religious
crusade. When will the religiously sensitive politicians and
journalists finally realize that this war is between Islamic
Extremists and the Jews and Christians?
The hard truth
is this: Satan will rise to power, deceive and then war against
Israel and her allies. Why? Because Satan hates God’s chosen
people. The only peace between Islam and Jews will be brief and
come as a result of diplomacy set forth by the Ant-Christ himself.
The stage for a one world Religion and one world Government may be
in its infancy, but the realities are crystal clear if we would just
open our eyes. Our adversary is not just a political or social
system, but a religious deity often referred to as the Devil.
